Oh the girls...
About a month ago, I was enjoying the summer weather and wearing a sleeveless top. I was typing at the computer and Abigail came up to me and started squeezing my upper arm. Then she looks at me with her huge eyes and says, "Mom, you're squishy." Oh thank you , Abigail!
Since we got back home in July, Isa has been learning to navigate the stairs. (We have over 50 of them in our skinny row house). There were a couple of precarious weeks where Isa had way more confidence in her ability to manage the stairs than I did, but now I'm starting to worry less.
Isa still doesn't have much hair at all, but she's very aware of the fact that I put pigtails and ponytails in Abigail's. So she'll drag the bag of hair things around the house saying, "hair, hair HAIR!" until I put a tiny pigtail on top of her head making her look like a blonde Pebbles Flintstone.
She's also learning to say Abigail's name which come out sounding more like apple-gow but you get the idea.
