fun pics

Kaleb, Isa, and Abigail were playing the other day all decked out in hats. Isa is wearing Abigail's swim cap and Abigail is sporting her beach hat. So cute!!

Here in our kitchen is the Art Wall. It started because our refrigerator is "hidden" and covered with wooden cabinet material, so I didn't have that typical space to hang pictures on. So, one day I taped a little something to our tile wall, and it grew from there. I think it's about time to take them all down, file away the favorites and start again.

swimming fun

When Abigail was 2 she used to wear a zucchini instead of a bikini to swim. Keeping up with the food mix-ups, Isa likes to wear her baking soup to cool off in the water.

The girls, especially Abigail, have never been much into dolls. However, it seems that lately all my nesting is wearing off on them. Now they both have dolls that get pushed around in the stroller, need to nap and eat and be held. It's really cute to watch.

Isa is now picking up on a lot of Spanish. Abigail knew a few words before she started pre-school, but Isa has acquired a lot more. Mostly, I think because she plays so much with Abigail and Kaleb and Hannah who all play together switching back and forth from English to Spanish. Everyone always says that children can learn a language so easily, but it is an amazing process to observe.

All smiles!

This is a photo of the girls taken on the American Father's Day (in Spain it's March 19). They both have been enjoying going to the beach lately since it's warmed up. Isa especially loves wearing her "bathing soup" and getting to play in the sand.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but Isa is covered head to toe in sand. She looks like she's breaded herself! This is typical of her at the beach. A few months ago I was worried about having "city kids" because she was scared of walking in grass, but at least she's not afraid of the nature at the beach!
